The RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) is a process whereby a person enters the Catholic Church. The RCIA experience is a profound, but gradual, process of conversion to the Catholic faith, and an integration into the liturgical life of the Church. The process typically culminates at the Easter Vigil Mass where candidates receive the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist).
