Fall into Service-November 13 at 7:00pm
Join us for a fun night for the whole family starting in the Parish Center (gym) at St. John the Baptist. We will be making blankets for Bethany House and filling birthday bags for our Food Pantry, crafts for kids of Reviv, as well as bags for new and expecting moms at Pregnancy Center West.
Please do not just drop off your child as this is a family event and time to work together and connect.
Below is a list of supplies that we will need DONATED for our stations.
You may drop the items in the SJB gathering space in the bin marked Create the Good at St. John the Baptist until November 12TH.
Fleece Blankets for Bethany House Children
2 yards of fleece fabric (60”wide x 2 yards) for children up to 18 yrs old, fabric scissors
Birthday Bags for ages 2-12– Corpus Christi Food Pantry
Cake mix, icing, individual apple sauce, small plates, napkins, candles, party favors and medium birthday gift bags
Bags From the heart for expecting mothers – Pregnancy Center West
purse-size hand lotion, lip balm (flavored or tinted, holiday sets), socks (fuzzy, holiday-themed, etc), winter hats/gloves/scarves (stretchy, one-size gloves), scented candle, gift cards to Kroger, Meijer, Walmart etc ($10 or $25), an ornament frame, or just a small regular frame, for baby's picture, Christmas fun-size candy bars, candy canes etc.
Crafts for kids-ReViv
Yarn, any color and any size. The children of ReViv are often sitting in a hospital waiting room so we are looking for yarn for a simple craft they can do.
